united producers United Producers began as a livestock marketing cooperatives in 1934. The mission of United Producers, is to provide what it takes to enhance the profitability of our customers and members. Our goal is to provide professional, progressive services throughout the marketplace. United Producers is the parent cooperative and all livestock marketing is done within its operations across the United States. United Producer is a marketing cooperative and it also provides credit and risk management services. Helping farmers and ranchers market their livestock has been the primary function of United Producers since it’s creation. We market over 4 million head of livestock through several facilities across the country. Producers Credit Corporation, a subsidiary of United offers an extensive program of operational, real estate, machinery, livestock, and other loans for any farming organization. Producers Technologies, Inc., another subsidiary of United, was formed to deliver ancillary services such as risk management, production records and coordination, marketing agreements, insurance and financial services to farmers. United Producers has 70,000 members served by two hundred and five employees. All of United Producer’s customers are farmers and ranchers. United Producers’ region covers the cornbelt, Southeast and Midwest. United also provides resources to assist members in understanding the impact of various local, state and federal regulations as well as existing and pending legislation. We work closely with commodity groups, universities and local, state and national farm organizations, packers and food companies and other agribusinesses. Company
